What we collect
Standard hosting logs are kept for security and performance: things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested. BioDeviceHub does not require an account to browse the catalog.
BioDeviceHub
How BioDeviceHub handles data, and the terms of using it.
BioDeviceHub is a reference platform for biomedical engineers. This policy covers what the site collects while you browse or use its Assistant feature.
Standard hosting logs are kept for security and performance: things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested. BioDeviceHub does not require an account to browse the catalog.
If you use the on-site Assistant, the question you ask is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Only the content of your query is sent, not your identity, and it is used solely to produce that answer.
There is no advertising network on BioDeviceHub, and personal data is never sold. Browsing the equipment catalog, manufacturer pages, or FDA updates does not require sign-in.
The site runs on Vercel for hosting and Turso for its device database. The Assistant feature calls a third-party AI provider to answer questions, as described above.
Skip the Assistant feature if you'd prefer not to send a query to the AI provider. Browser privacy tools can further limit standard hosting-log collection, the same as on any website.
BioDeviceHub is a professional engineering reference tool and is not directed at children.
If this changes in a way that matters, such as a new data use or a new service added, the date at the top of this page will move.
BioDeviceHub is an informational and reference tool for biomedical engineers, not a substitute for official manufacturer or regulatory documentation.
Using BioDeviceHub means you agree to these terms.
BioDeviceHub compiles biomedical device catalogs, manufacturer information, service documentation, and FDA updates as a reference for biomedical engineers. It is not a substitute for official manufacturer service manuals or regulatory guidance.
Device information is built from real catalogs and service material where possible, and reviewed with care, but it can still contain errors or fall out of date. Always verify against the manufacturer's own documentation before servicing equipment.
Use the site for personal or professional reference. Don't scrape the catalog in bulk or resell its content.
BioDeviceHub is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer of BioDeviceHub is not liable for damages arising from reliance on information found on the site, including in servicing or maintenance decisions.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
